Hamilton County Register of Deeds notes
- E-recording through Simplifile and CSC. The Register lists both, and notes that it doesn't support or endorse either vendor.
- A published checklist. The Register's Document Requirement Guide asks for original signatures and seals, a three-inch margin at the top right of the first page for the stamp, a “prepared by” name and address, a notary acknowledgment for each signature, and pages in order with exhibits after the legal description.
- Electronic certification. E-recorded documents need the certification signed by a licensed attorney or the custodian of the original and acknowledged by a notary, in at least 10-point type.
- Fee schedule. The county's published schedule lists $12.00 for most documents up to two pages and $5.00 for each additional page. We check the current schedule on each file.
- Online records. Online database access requires an application and a $50 monthly fee, so we'll use your existing access where you have it.
Around Chattanooga
As of October 2026, CSC listed Bradley County in its e-recording network but not Marion County. Property on the Georgia side of the metro is outside what we do; we work on Tennessee files only.
Services for Chattanooga offices
How we work with your office
We work remotely, inside your production software and shared drives, under your access controls. Your team keeps the client relationships, the licensed signatures, the closings and the money. We take the processing work in between, per file, starting with one free trial file.
